Requirements:

Hour Requirements: 24 hrs biennially

Line Specific Requirements:

For All Licenses:

Ethics

3 hrs - Producers and Adjusters must complete 3 hrs of Ethics as part of the total requirement.

For Life & Health Agents:

Long Term Care

3 hrs - Producers with a Health license who are selling Long Term Care policies must complete 3 hours of LTC Training as part of their biennial requirement.

For Property & Casualty Agents:

Flood

2 hrs - Producers selling personal lines or homeowners insurance must complete a 2-hour course on NFIP Flood education each renewal period.

Carryover Hours: A maximum of 5 hours may be carried over to the next renewal period. Excess Ethics hours will count toward the total requirement.

Compliance Renewal Date: Renewal date is the last day of February in even-numbered years.

Course Repetition: Courses may not be taken more than once in a reporting period.
