Requirements:

Pre-Licensing Requirements for: Health, Life, Property, Casualty, and Personal Lines Producers Satisfactory completion of a 40-hour study course given by an approved school or course provider. Once you complete your course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion. Pre-licensing education is valid for one year from the date of completion; you will need to pass your state exam within that time period. Connecticut requires you to present an original copy of the Certificate of Completion at your licensing exam.
