Requirements:
Hour Requirements:
24 hrs biennially
Line Specific Requirements:
Ethics
3 hrs - Producers must complete 3 hrs in Ethics as part of total requirement
Annuity
4 hrs - Producers must complete a one-time annuity training course approved for at least 4 hours before selling, soliciting or negotiating annuity products.
Flood
3 hrs - Property/Casualty producers who also sell Flood insurance must complete 3 hrs on Flood Insurance biennially
Long-Term Care Partnership - Training Requirement
8 hrs/4 hrs - Producers must complete an initial 8 hr training course prior to selling LTC products and a 4 hr ongoing training biennially, thereafter
Carryover Hours:
A maximum of 24 hrs may be carried over to the next renewal period
Compliance Renewal Date:
License renewal date is every 2 years ending on the last day of the producer's birth month.
Course Repetition:
Courses may not be taken for credit more than once in a two year period
